Device Tracking Extension
Overview
The Device Tracking extension for Magento helps improve your online store by showing you what devices your customers use when they buy things. It enhances order processing by adding device type information (mobile or desktop) to each order. Its primary goal is to identify the type of device (mobile or desktop) used by the customer during the order process.

Note: After installation run “composer require matomo/device-detector“
How to configure
- Login to the Magento Admin, choose Store > Configuration > Ecacode > Device Tracking
- After clicking on Device tracking you will see the general section.
- From general section you can disable and enable extension.
To check if extension is working
- Go to sales and then to orders
- After clicking on orders you will be redirected to orders section.
- From here you can view any order by clicking on View.
- On the dashboard page, the admin can view “Orders by Device Type” data in line chart format. Additionally , there is a filter option that allows the chart data to be filtered by month, year, or custom dates.
